in san francisco. but next season will be the teams last at the stick. the city has announced plans to demolish the stadium after the team moves south to its new home in santa clara. kron 4's charles clifford has more >> reporter: candlestick parks sits about 5 and a half miles south of downtown san francisco. the stadium was built in the late fifties as a home for the san francisco giants, the 49ers started using it in 1971. the giants moved out in 2000 and the next nfl season will be candlesticks last. for more than fifty years candlestick park has been home to sports, concerts, and more than a few memorable moments, among the highlights was the 1989 loma prieta earthquake, which shook the stadium on live television during the world series. there was also this pass from joe montana to dwight clark, which was immortalized as the catch that sent the 49ers to superbowl 16. candlestick park is currently run by the san francisco recreation and parks department, but after the 49ers play there last game here next season, developer lennar urban will take over. lennar is the same company t

after that 15 minute helicopter ride from vatican city, the pope in his temporary home, his sprawling lakeside estate. he will remain here while his permanent home in an old mons r monstery is renovated. joining me now from vad can city, the villa from what i understand has been used by popes since 1626, mostly as a summer residence. you have been inside. i hear it's fancy. >> it's very impressive. as you said, 155 and 35 acres of very nice real estate overlooking the lake. on one side and on another. like almost everything related to the catholic church, it is full of history. it goes well back before 1626 and it used to be the home of one of the roman emperors. the summer home. there is an ancient roman amphitheater there. pope benedict xvi apparently had something of an environmental inclination and made sure that gandolfo had no carbon footprint. much of the food eaten there is grown there. they have their own olives and trees and cows and chickens to provide eggs and meat and so on. he will have a calm and quiet two months there. i spoke to the head of the man who runs that esta

city, in is a tricky forecast for you. you're right on the line. we know it's going to snow. the question is, how much is it going to snow. we've got you in the 6 to 12 inch range right now. that would be the biggest storm of the year so far. northern new jersey, some big snow totals and in lesser amounts if you move south and west. don't think you're going to have to go very far to get into the north or east to get into the bigger snow totals. poughkeepsie, eastern long island, things will be significantly worse than we see in the city itself. timing there is late tomorrow and into tomorrow night. you see amounts tapering off as you head farther south and west. the idea here is that a lot of people see a foot of snow. some people say two feet of snow. maybe in a few spots in and around boston we could see three feet of snowfall out of this one. your top five snowstorms, the biggest, presidents' day in 2003. some model res saying we may beat that total in boston. not written in stone, but these are ones that everybody remembers. we stop that, that indeed will be something to
